Okay, so I made these reservations 9 months early, I knew we would be arriving at 8:30am, so in order to avoid having to wait until 3:00pm to check in I paid for an extra night for the night before to hold a room for our early check in. I found the 2nd room nice except for the mold Fortunately after looking they found a double twin bed room. Got to the desk in time and they confirmed me but it was a king sized bed.
0800 not ready, 10:00 not ready, noon not ready, 1:00 ready and you better be here to claim it in an hour or we'll give it away. They did 'graciously' provide me a non-smoking room the next day BUT they'd let me know when it would be ready. NEWS FLASH management.buy one get one free or 1/2 off is NOT free stuff. They 'graciously' provided me 'free items' to make up for the inconvenience. 'I asked how they were going to make it right with me.
Why would you NOT confirm it? So I spent an evening in a room that left me feeling ill and unrested due to the smoke. 'Where's my non-smoking room' I asked? I was informed they don't confirm rooms booked like that until you register. Upon arrival my non-smoking room was now a HEAVILY smoked in room.
